Apple is expected to announce the highly anticipated M4 MacBook Air this week, marking a significant upgrade to its lightweight laptop lineup. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, there are no delays in Apple’s plans, aligning with earlier reports that the new model would debut in March 2025. The M4 chip is expected to deliver notable improvements, including a 10-core CPU, up to 32GB of RAM, 120GB/s memory bandwidth, and a 12MP Center Stage webcam.

Apple may also introduce a nanotexture display option for reduced glare, improved battery life, and possibly some surprise features. With the arrival of the M4 MacBook Air, Apple’s MacBook lineup may see some restructuring. The M3 MacBook Air is currently being discounted, hinting at its potential phase-out, while the M2 model could remain in the lineup with its recent 16GB base RAM upgrade.

As Apple shifts its focus to Mac this week, all eyes are on whether these anticipated features will redefine the MacBook Air experience once again.
