GEORGE TOWN, March 6 – The Northeast District Criminal Investigation Department (IPD Timur Laut) has successfully resolved the case involving the discovery of live ammunition in Sungai Nibong within 24 hours. A 46-year-old local man, who initially reported finding the ammunition, later admitted to placing the bag at the scene for disposal.
He claimed to have discovered the items while cleaning a house in 2024. Authorities are now verifying his statements as part of ongoing investigations. The swift resolution highlights the efficiency of the police in handling the case promptly and effectively.
