FIFA has announced that the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas will serve as the official International Broadcast Centre (IBC) for the FIFA World Cup 26™, marking the second time the city has hosted this prestigious role since 1994. Operating from January to July 2026, the 45,000-square-metre facility will be the global media hub, providing state-of-the-art services to approximately 2,000 broadcast professionals.
Managed by FIFA’s Host Broadcaster, Host Broadcast Services (HBS), the IBC will ensure seamless coverage of the tournament, spanning 16 host cities across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, reaching billions of viewers worldwide. Dallas Mayor Eric L. Johnson hailed the selection as a “monumental win”, reinforcing the city’s global appeal, while FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström emphasized the top-tier services and cutting-edge infrastructure that will support broadcasters.
The IBC will feature a full suite of amenities, ensuring an optimal environment for media professionals to deliver world-class coverage, further cementing Dallas as a key player on the international stage.
