GEORGE TOWN, March 9 – The Penang State Government has approved a Special Financial Aid (BKK) payment of half a month’s salary or a minimum of RM1,000 for state civil servants in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri 1446H/2025 celebration. The payment will be disbursed starting March 19, 2025. Additionally, a RM300 aid will be provided to supervisors, teachers, and staff of KAFA, SRAR, SMAR, SABK, tahfiz institutions, Islamic kindergartens (TADIS), and private Chinese schools in Penang.
The aid is also extended to Local Authorities (PBT) and State Statutory Bodies, subject to their financial capability. With an estimated financial implication of RM7.81 million, this initiative will benefit 7,066 recipients as a token of appreciation for their dedication and service. The Penang State Government remains committed to recognizing the contributions of public servants in achieving the Penang2030 Vision—transforming Penang into a smart, green, and family-focused state.
