KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 – The Malaysian Indian Skills Initiative (MISI) is strengthening its commitment to upskilling the Indian community through its Drone Maintenance and Repair Proficiency Programme, held from 16 – 20 February 2025 at the Institut Latihan Perindustrian Perai, Penang.

Organized under the Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) and HRD Corp, the five-day certified training by The Institute of Drone Technology (IDT), Australia, equips participants with hands-on experience in drone repair, maintenance, and autonomous operations, meeting global industry standards.

With drones revolutionizing sectors like construction, agriculture, and infrastructure, the initiative opens up higher-income opportunities and career advancement for Malaysian Indian talent, fostering long-term success in the evolving technology-driven job market.
