KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 – Majlis Belia Malaysia (MBM) has welcomed the government’s decision to appoint 562 teaching assistants across 281 secondary schools, as announced by Education Minister YB Puan Fadhlina Sidek in Parliament. MBM views this initiative as a significant step in reducing teachers’ workload while enhancing the overall quality of education, aligning with the government’s commitment to education reform.

The proposal, previously raised during the National Youth Consultative Council (MPBN), reflects the government’s responsiveness to youth leadership voices. MBM remains committed to collaborating with the Ministry of Education in shaping a robust education system and nurturing future national leaders.
