KUALA LUMPUR, March 16 – Betamek Berhad has launched its new Research & Development (R&D) Centre in Rawang, Selangor, reinforcing its commitment to advancing Malaysia’s automotive technology sector.
Officiated by YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Bin Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry (MITI), the facility will focus on next-generation automotive innovations, including telematics, IoT-connected mobility, and advanced sensor solutions.
Aligning with Malaysia’s National Automotive Policy (NAP) 2020, the centre aims to enhance local innovation, foster industry collaboration, and strengthen Malaysia’s position as a regional hub for automotive R&D.
