KUALA LUMPUR, March 16 – DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke has reaffirmed the party’s unwavering support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, vowing that there will be no repeat of past political betrayals like the Sheraton Move. Speaking at DAP’s 18th Congress, Loke highlighted that Anwar’s leadership has restored political stability, and the Madani government is now stronger. He credited DAP’s commitment to loyalty and unity as a key factor in maintaining the coalition’s strength.
Loke emphasized that DAP remains a true partner to Anwar’s administration, standing by him since he was sworn in as prime minister. He assured delegates that political upheavals of the past will not resurface, as the party is fully aligned with Anwar’s vision for a stable and progressive Malaysia. Earlier in the event, DAP national chairman Lim Guan Eng also reiterated the party’s dedication to Anwar’s leadership, solidifying DAP’s role as a trusted ally within the government.
