GEORGE TOWN, March 20 – Penang Hill Corporation (PHC), in collaboration with Rapid Bus Sdn. Bhd. and the Penang State Government, will provide a free shuttle service from 29 March to 2 April 2025 to ease traffic congestion and promote sustainability during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
Running from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM with eight round trips daily, the shuttle will transport passengers between KOMTAR’s Station 9 bus stop and Penang Hill Lower Station. The wheelchair-accessible service aligns with the Penang2030 Vision for a greener state and aims to improve visitor convenience. In case of full capacity, visitors can opt for Rapid Penang Route 204.
The public is encouraged to use the service for a hassle-free and eco-friendly visit to Penang Hill.
