PUTRAJAYA, March 29 – In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the Malaysian government will continue its tradition of hosting the MADANI Aidilfitri Celebration 2025 in collaboration with state governments. This initiative, in line with the Malaysia MADANI agenda, emphasizes values such as compassion, respect, and inclusivity.
Under the theme “Compassion Touches the Soul, Tolerance Unites the Nation,” the event aims to strengthen unity among Malaysians by fostering love, tolerance, and mutual respect across diverse communities. The nationwide celebrations will take place in eight locations, starting with the national-level event in Melaka on 5 April 2025, followed by Selangor, Pahang, Kelantan, Penang, Sarawak, Perak, and Perlis throughout April.
More than just a festive gathering, this year’s celebration serves as a platform to unite Malaysians through shared cultural traditions and meaningful interactions. The Prime Minister, along with state leaders, will attend the event, providing an opportunity for direct engagement between the government and the people.
The national celebration at MITC, Melaka, will be held on 5 April from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, co-organized by the Melaka State Government and the Ministry of National Unity. The public is warmly invited to participate, dressed in traditional attire, to enjoy a harmonious and vibrant Hari Raya celebration.
