PULAU TIKUS, March 31 – In a continued effort to uplift the community, Pulau Tikus hosted two impactful events on 22 March 2025: the Women’s Health Awareness Programme and the Puisi Raya Pulau Tikus Competition. The health initiative at Gurney Paragon Mall, in collaboration with Island Hospital, provided free screenings and expert talks to empower women with vital knowledge on early detection.
Meanwhile, the poetry competition, themed “Keindahan Syawal dalam Puisi,” celebrated cultural heritage, drawing diverse young participants in a meaningful artistic expression of Syawal. These initiatives, led by the Pulau Tikus State Assemblyman’s Office and community partners, reinforce ongoing efforts to enhance public health and cultural appreciation.
