PUTRA HEIGHTS, April 2 – PETRONAS has confirmed a fire incident at the main PETRONAS Gas Berhad (PGB) pipeline near Putra Heights, Subang Jaya, Selangor, at 8:10 AM yesterday. The affected pipeline has been isolated, and all relevant stakeholders have been informed.
PETRONAS is working closely with authorities to ensure the safety of the surrounding community, environmental protection, and the security of gas supply. As a precautionary measure, three nearby PETRONAS retail stations—PS Putra Heights, PS KM2 LDP, and PS Putra Bestari—have been temporarily closed, though they remain unaffected by the incident.
Customers are advised to refuel at alternative stations, including PS USJ 20, USJ 6, and USJ 9. Investigations are ongoing, and PETRONAS will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
