KUALA LUMPUR, April 2 – PETRONAS extends its deepest sympathies to all individuals and families affected by the gas pipeline explosion in Putra Heights, Subang Jaya earlier yesterday. Ensuring the safety of the community, assisting those impacted, and maintaining gas supply security remain the company’s top priorities. PETRONAS Gas Berhad (PGB), the owner of the affected pipeline, is working closely with government authorities to assess the full impact of the incident.

While the PETRONAS Group is implementing contingency measures to mitigate disruptions and restore operations safely and efficiently. Following safety clearance from relevant authorities, three PETRONAS stations near the incident site—PS Putra Heights, PS KM2 LDP, and PS Putra Bestari—have resumed operations after being temporarily closed as a precautionary measure.
