KUALA LUMPUR, April 7 – Apple is set to revolutionize the listening experience for AirPods Max users with a new software update next month, introducing lossless audio and ultra-low latency audio. With a USB-C cable, users can now enjoy pristine 24-bit, 48 kHz lossless audio across music, movies, and games, preserving studio-quality sound.

This update also makes AirPods Max the first headphones to enable musicians to create and mix in Personalised Spatial Audiowith head tracking, enhancing professional workflows on Logic Pro and other music production apps. Beyond music production, gamers and livestreamers will also benefit from ultra-low latency, eliminating response delays for smoother, immersive experiences.

The update will roll out for free in April with iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4. AirPods Max, available in five colors, retail at RM2,499, while the USB-C to 3.5 mm audio cable is priced at RM219, both available through Apple’s official store and authorized resellers.
