MELAKA, April 8 – StarCruises has officially launched its new chapter with the maiden arrival of Star Voyager in Melaka, marking a milestone in the revitalization of the iconic cruise brand. The relaunch ceremony, held in Singapore, heralds a new vision for the brand, which has over 30 years of cruising history.
Melaka will now serve as a key cruise hub, with Star Voyager making scheduled stops between 27 March – 16 April and 12 – 27 July 2025, boosting international tourism and inbound travel. Additionally, Melaka will act as a dual homeport alongside Singapore for select voyages, offering special departures for the 5-Night Jakarta–Singapore Cruise (1–11 April) and the 5-Night Ho Chi Minh–Singapore Cruise (12–22 July 2025).
Beyond Melaka, StarCruises is also introducing four special departures from Port Klang for a 3-Night Medan–Singapore Cruise between 28 May – 6 June 2025, catering to holiday travelers. “We are excited to reaffirm our commitment to positioning Melaka as a key cruise hub in Southeast Asia under the revitalized StarCruises brand,” said Michael Goh, President of StarCruises and Dream Cruises.
