SANTA CLARA, April 9 – A new Hitachi Vantara survey reveals that financial services leaders are grappling with AI-induced data governance and infrastructure challenges, with 84% fearing catastrophic data loss and 41% acknowledging AI as a critical part of their operations.
The State of Data Infrastructure 2024 Report highlights that while 36% of banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) leaders prioritize data quality, security concerns dominate decision-making, hindering AI performance and long-term returns.
The study underscores the urgency for BFSI organizations to build AI-ready infrastructures, improve data resilience, and adopt responsible experimentation to navigate growing cybersecurity threats and ensure sustainable AI implementation.
