MELVILLE, NY, April 11 – Nikon Inc. has announced that Adobe Premiere Pro® will introduce support for Nikon’s proprietary N-RAW video format in an upcoming software update set for release by the end of 2025. This integration, made possible through RED’s R3D SDK, will allow professional filmmakers and content creators to take full advantage of N-RAW’s 12-bit color depth, wider Rec2020 color gamut, and enhanced post-production flexibility.
The addition of N-RAW compatibility in Premiere Pro® marks a significant step forward for video and film production, enabling Nikon users to achieve higher-quality workflows within a widely used professional editing platform.
