GEORGE TOWN, April 20 — Education Minister and Wanita PKR Chief Fadhlina Sidek secured the Nibong Tebal division chief post in the 2025 PKR polls with 677 votes, defeating two challengers, while PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar reclaimed her position as Permatang Pauh division chief unopposed.
The Penang elections also saw Datuk Dr Mohamad Abdul Hamid winning in Tasek Gelugor, while incumbents Johari Kassim and Goh Choon Aik retained their Jelutong and Batu Kawan posts respectively, amid an 85% voter turnout.
