KUALA LUMPUR, April 27 — Bayan Baru MP Sim Tze Tzin has officially announced his candidacy for the position of Vice President in the upcoming Parti KEADILAN election, pledging to strengthen the party’s future and honour the ideals of the Reformasi movement he joined in 1998.

Highlighting his long-standing service — from being Anwar Ibrahim’s political secretary to holding key roles in Parliament and government — Sim outlined three core aspirations: securing at least 60 critical parliamentary seats, supporting the national agenda to eradicate poverty, and uniting the party grassroots through a dedicated membership bureau.

In his media release, Sim emphasised his unwavering loyalty to KEADILAN, citing his active role during the “Kita Lawan” protest, his resistance during the Sheraton Move crisis, and his administrative contributions including the expansion of PERKESO protection for over 200,000 fishermen.

With a track record of consistent electoral victories in Bayan Baru and experience as the party’s longest-serving Director of Strategy, Sim called on members to support his bid to help KEADILAN become the leading force in Malaysian politics.
