KUALA LUMPUR, April 28 — Maxis marked a milestone with the successful completion of its inaugural eKelas Usahawan Accelerator Programme, where 60 micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) entrepreneurs from the Central Region graduated after a three-month journey of digital upskilling.
The programme, launched in December 2024, equipped participants with essential digital marketing skills, resulting in significant business growth, with one-third of the cohort reporting a doubling of revenue and three individuals recognised for exceptional performance in online engagement and sales.
Building on the programme’s success, Maxis announced its expansion to the East Coast, Southern Region, and Sabah, reaffirming its commitment to digital empowerment for entrepreneurs across Malaysia. In tandem with the graduation, Maxis also launched the Maxis eKelas Usahawan Learning Portal, a dedicated digital platform offering nationwide access to ongoing upskilling resources.
The event, themed “Kuasai Digital, Lonjakkan Kejayaan,” was officiated by Noor Afifah binti Abdul Razak from the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development, further highlighting the initiative’s role in fostering a digitally inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.
