SINGAPORE, APRIL 28 – In celebration of Earth Day, ZALORA, Asia’s top fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform under Global Fashion Group (GFG), has announced key sustainability milestones as part of its People and Planet Positive (PPP) agenda. Highlights from 2024 include advancements in climate-friendly logistics using electric and hybrid vehicles in key markets, partnerships with government agencies, and the adoption of 100% recycled and responsibly sourced packaging materials.
ZALORA’s commitment to climate action also led to a collaborative pilot program with MGTC and UNIDO to test electric motorbikes in Malaysia. Furthering its push for circular fashion, ZALORA partnered with organizations like The Salvation Army and Tukar Tambah Celana to divert over 34,630kg of clothing from landfills. The company also logged nearly 1,300 employee volunteer hours through initiatives like forest replanting and food rescue.
“Sustainability isn’t just a commitment—it’s a shared journey,” said Christopher Daguimol, Corporate Communications Director at ZALORA Group, affirming the brand’s continued dedication to a greener, more inclusive future.
