KUALA LUMPUR,May 3 – Microsoft has unveiled AI for Malaysia’s Future (AIForMYFuture), an ambitious initiative aimed at equipping 800,000 Malaysians with AI skills by the end of 2025. Announced at the Microsoft Cloud and AI Summit Malaysia, the program aligns with national goals to build a future-ready, AI-literate workforce and will work in collaboration with Malaysia’s upcoming National AI Office under the Ministry of Digital.
Microsoft’s efforts span diverse segments—from civil servants to underserved communities—and will offer personalized learning through platforms like the AI Skills Navigator. With strategic partnerships including HRD Corp, Biji-biji Initiative, TalentCorp, and IWFCIM, the initiative focuses on multi-stakeholder collaboration, industry readiness, inclusive education, and empowering the underserved.
