KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 — Xiaomi has released its 2024 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report, showcasing strong progress in sustainability through its foundational core technologies and innovative practices.
From launching the AI-powered HyperOS 2 and expanding accessibility features, to achieving an 81% automation rate at its Smart Factory and committing to significant carbon reduction targets across its global supply chain, Xiaomi continues to lead with purpose.
The tech giant also reported nearly 96% progress toward its goal of recycling 38,000 tonnes of electronic waste by 2026, integrating bio-based and recycled materials into its devices, and pioneering zero-waste operations certified at the highest global standards—solidifying its role as a trailblazer in sustainable tech development.
