GEORGE TOWN, May 12 — The DAP Penang State Committee has announced two major initiatives to strengthen the party and support its members, including a RM200,000 contribution to the DAP Veterans Club led by Sdr Lay Hock Peng. This contribution aims to support the welfare of veteran members, especially those battling serious illnesses such as cancer, in recognition of their long-standing contributions to the party’s struggle.
In addition, DAP Penang has established a Strategic Taskforce, headed by Sdr Joshua Woo, the State Publicity Secretary, to develop strategies, mobilize public support, and enhance the party’s outreach efforts. Reaffirming its commitment to social justice and empowering the people, DAP Penang stated that these measures are part of its ongoing efforts to better serve the community and strengthen its grassroots presence.
