KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 — CIMB Group Holdings Berhad has outlined its next phase of growth through the launch of its Forward30 strategic roadmap following a successful FY2024, where it recorded a return on equity of 11.2% and a record RM5.04 billion dividend payout.

At its 68th Annual General Meeting held on 29 April 2025, the Group highlighted the solid progress made under its Forward23+ plan, with improved asset quality, disciplined cost controls, and a well-capitalised CET1 ratio of 14.6%, affirming its resilience and client-focused approach.

Looking ahead, CIMB aims to reimagine banking through a customer-centric model, greater capital optimisation, and technology integration, including GenAI, to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Group CEO Novan Amirudin emphasised that Forward30 will position CIMB as the leading ASEAN bank by unlocking growth through intra-regional trade and delivering Simpler, Better and Faster experiences, while continuing to balance purpose with performance.
