GEORGE TOWN, May 26 – The Penang Future Foundation (PFF), a key talent development initiative by the Penang State Government, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year with a renewed commitment to empowering Malaysian youths through education. Since its inception in 2015, PFF has awarded approximately 805 scholarships worth RM44.5 million, supporting students in critical fields such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Accountancy, and Finance.
Penang Chief Minister YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow, who also chairs the PFF, announced that applications for the 2025 scholarship awards will be open from 21 July to 15 August 2025. Malaysian students can apply under two categories—‘PFF Penang Scholar’ for high achievers (CGPA 3.67 and above) and ‘PFF Mutiara Scholar’ for those with CGPA between 3.00 and 3.66.
