KUALA LUMPUR, June 3 — British backpacker Jordan Johnson-Doyle, 25, has been reported missing in Kuala Lumpur after he was last seen at Healy Mac’s Irish Bar in Bangsar on May 27. A solo traveller working remotely as a software engineer, Jordan’s phone reportedly went offline on May 30, and all contact with him has since ceased.

He had arrived in Malaysia on May 17 after visiting Vietnam and was believed to be staying at the Robertson Residences in Bukit Bintang. His mother, Leanne Burnett, is now flying to Malaysia with family members to aid in the search, stating that Jordan would have contacted them if he had simply lost his devices.

Authorities in both the UK and Malaysia have been alerted, and his last known phone signal was traced to an apartment block near his last sighting. Friends and relatives have launched a social media appeal in hopes of gathering any leads that could help locate him.

The family urges anyone with information to contact them directly, emphasizing the urgency of the situation. A police report has been filed, and the British Consulate is assisting in the matter. Concern continues to grow as his disappearance stretches into its sixth day.
