KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 – Cropmate Berhad has delivered a robust first-quarter performance for FY2025, reporting a 60.9% surge in Profit Before Tax (PBT) to RM5.0 million and a 34.6% increase in revenue to RM48.6 million.

The strong results, announced in the company’s maiden quarterly report since its ACE Market debut in December 2024, were driven by higher sales volume from oil palm plantations and durian orchards, alongside an improved product mix that lifted gross profit margins from 15.6% to 19.1%. Managing Director Mr. Lee Chin Yok highlighted the results as a reflection of Cropmate’s resilience and growing demand for quality fertilisers.

With RM22.3 million of its IPO proceeds already channelled into operations, capital expenditure, and strategic expansion—including the planned acquisition of key factory lots—Cropmate maintains a healthy balance sheet and remains cautiously optimistic amid broader macroeconomic challenges in the agriculture sector.
