KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 – YTL Communications Sdn. Bhd. has confirmed its compliance with the directive issued by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to provide mobile network usage records for Q1 2025.
This effort supports the government’s recently approved mandate to utilise Mobile Phone Data (MPD) for national statistical purposes. In adhering to the directive, YTL Communications emphasised that all shared data was rigorously anonymised prior to submission.
The company assured that no personally identifiable information was disclosed and that customer privacy remains a core priority.
