PETALING JAYA, June 14 – Samaiden Group Berhad has strengthened its role in Malaysia’s renewable energy landscape with a RM100.75 million contract win for the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) of a 27.60MWac large scale solar photovoltaic plant in Pasir Mas, Kelantan.

Awarded by GVU Fajar Timur Sdn. Bhd. under the Large Scale Solar 5 (LSS5) programme approved by Suruhanjaya Tenaga, the project will commence following the fulfillment of all conditions precedent, targeting commercial operation by 24 July 2027. Group Managing Director Datuk Ir. Chow Pui Hee stated, “We are proud to be entrusted with this project by GVU as part of the LSS5 initiative.
