GEORGE TOWN, June 15 — Hundreds of passionate Penangites united on the pickleball court at PickleGen Pickleball Giant Bayan Baru for the Paddle for Pink Fundraising Tournament, a powerful community event spearheaded by TalkHealthAsia.com to support breast cancer patients and survivors from the B40 group.
With spirited participation from healthcare professionals, corporate teams, youth players, and women leaders—including a special Women in Leadership Exhibition Match—the event raised RM7,000 to help underprivileged patients attend the Malaysian Breast Cancer Summit 2025.
From age-defying teams to corporate solidarity and institutional backing, the tournament showcased pickleball’s unique ability to connect generations, promote health equity, and ignite collective impact across Penang.
