KUALA LUMPUR, June 17 – Tourism Malaysia has signed a two-year Memorandum of Collaboration with Agoda to amplify the country’s visibility as a premier travel destination in Southeast Asia, aligning with the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign.

Through targeted digital campaigns and data-driven insights, Agoda will showcase Malaysia’s vibrant culture, lush rainforests, iconic cuisine, and modern cities to a global audience, aiming to support Tourism Malaysia’s target of 45 million international visitor arrivals. The partnership also includes collaborative workshops on traveller behaviour and sustainable tourism, reflecting a shared commitment to long-term industry growth.

Director-General Datuk Manoharan Periasamy lauded the alliance as a major stride in digital tourism promotion, while Agoda’s Country Director Fabian Teja emphasized the platform’s role in connecting global travellers with Malaysia’s unique offerings through innovative content and technology.
