KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 — The newly established National Education Council (MPN) will act as Malaysia’s top strategic platform for harmonising education policies across ministries, from preschool to university, said Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek. She said the council aims to address education issues in a holistic and coordinated manner, ensuring streamlined implementation nationwide.

In a Facebook post after co-chairing a meeting with Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, Fadhlina revealed discussions covered the council’s direction, terms of reference, and operational strategies. She stressed that the success of Malaysia’s bold education reforms hinges on the inclusive involvement of all relevant stakeholders.
