SEOUL, June 26 – Tourism Malaysia marked a major milestone by launching the Malaysia Pavilion and officially introducing the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign at the 40th Seoul International Travel Fair (SITF 2025), held at COEX Hall C. The event was officiated by the Malaysian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Dato’ Mohd Zamuni Khalid, who reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to deepening tourism ties with South Korea.

Led by Mr. Azmi bin Abdullah, Senior Deputy Director of the International Promotion Division (Asia/Africa), the Malaysian delegation showcased the country’s rich diversity—from natural wonders and heritage to culinary experiences. The Malaysia Pavilion featured strategic partners like Education Malaysia Global Services, Batik Air, and Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H), drawing strong public interest with traditional games, live Teh Tarik demos, local delicacies, and cultural quizzes.

As Malaysia targets 45 million tourist arrivals and RM270 billion in tourism receipts by end-2025, South Korea remains a priority market with robust air connectivity and growing tourist numbers.
