KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 – Tune Protect Group Berhad, in collaboration with Sunway XFarms, has launched the “Grow & Give” initiative—an impactful programme blending employee engagement, sustainable agriculture, and community empowerment.
Across four sessions in 2025, 240 Tune Protect employees will participate in hydroponic farming and help establish a solar-powered community farm to support over 4,000 low-income residents in the Medan Jaya community, promoting food self-sufficiency and environmental stewardship.
The initiative, aligned with Tune Protect’s sustainability vision “In Tune for a Better Tomorrow,” is projected to yield over 240kg of fresh produce annually and save significant environmental resources. In addition to distributing fresh vegetables and conducting clean-up drives, the programme offers a hands-on approach to solving issues like food insecurity and climate impact.
COO of Sunway XFarms Eleanor Choong praised the partnership as a model for empowering urban communities, while Medan Jaya’s resident association acknowledged its lasting socio-economic and environmental value.
