PUTRAJAYA, June 29 — The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced that 12 out of 41 planned healthcare facility projects under the 12th Malaysia Plan have been completed as of June 16.

Among these, six—including Pasir Gudang Hospital in Johor—are set to be handed over soon by the Works Ministry, with the Pasir Gudang handover scheduled for June 29.

The remaining 29 projects are in progress, with Health Minister Datuk Seri Dzulkefly Ahmad chairing the MOH Development Action Council (MTPK) meeting to assess project performance and ensure timely delivery.

With RM25.84 billion allocated since 2021, MOH emphasized the need for stricter oversight and contractor evaluations to ensure all projects are completed within schedule, reinforcing the government’s commitment to healthcare access and quality.
