KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 — The MyGOV Malaysia mobile app will be launched next month as the government’s unified digital gateway for public services, Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo announced today.
The app will integrate essential services such as passport applications, medical records, driving licence renewals, and cash aid access into a single platform, streamlining citizens’ interactions with government agencies.
Developed under the GovTech initiative and linked with MyDigital ID for secure access, the MyGOV app is expected to reduce reliance on physical Urban Transformation Centres and enhance productivity through data-driven services.
With over 2.6 million MyDigital ID users already registered, Gobind emphasized that the initiative marks a significant milestone in Malaysia’s journey toward becoming a fully digital nation.
