BAYAN LEPAS, July 3 – The LEGO® Group has partnered with IKEA Malaysia to showcase how LEGO play can become a stylish and expressive part of Malaysian homes. Launching the “LEGO Home – A Playful Twist to Your Home” experience at Queensbay Mall.

Penangites are invited to explore curated LEGO-themed spaces reflecting different personalities—from nature lovers to pop culture collectors and art enthusiasts—styled using IKEA furnishings and built entirely with LEGO creativity.

Running from 2 to 14 July at the Ground Floor Concourse of Queensbay Mall, the immersive showcase allows visitors to tour life-sized room setups featuring LEGO sets across various collections, including Botanical, Art, Architecture and Icons.

Guests can enjoy interactive activities such as free builds, Make & Take, LEGO gaming, giveaways, and photo ops with LEGO mascots and Bluey & Bingo characters. QR codes at each room setup offer additional decor insights and ideas for integrating LEGO into personal spaces.

Ágnes Molnár, Marketing Director of The LEGO Group for Singapore, Malaysia and APAC Travel Retail, said: “Creativity transcends all areas of our lives. LEGO sets not only offer play, but also serve as meaningful design elements that personalise and enrich home spaces. We’re thrilled to bring the LEGO Home experience to Penang, a city steeped in art and culture.”

In addition, visitors can enjoy exclusive redemption offers including limited-edition sticker packs, LEGO Home Decor Stamps, and RM10 vouchers simply by participating in event activities and sharing moments on social media with hashtags #MYLEGOHOME and #LEGOMY.

For added inspiration, The LEGO Group has also collaborated with interior stylist Priscilla Tan to provide decor tips based on personality types, showcasing how sets like the 10342 Flower Bouquet or 10351 Sherlock Holmes Book Nook can elevate interior aesthetics.

Complementing the event, IKEA Malaysia is also integrating LEGO Home Decor ideas into their showrooms at IKEA Batu Kawan (30 June – 14 July) and IKEA Tebrau (21 July – 24 August). Shoppers can explore real-life room setups combining IKEA functionality with LEGO charm, demonstrating how playfulness can blend seamlessly into purposeful living.

“This partnership brings our vision of creating a better everyday life to life in a joyful way,” said Malcolm Pruys, Retail Director of IKEA Malaysia. Fans also stand a chance to win exclusive LEGO prizes including the rare 21037 LEGO House set and a LEGO ceramic mug by sharing creative home decor ideas using LEGO sets online.
