KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 — A new global study by Cisco reveals that 96% of IT leaders in Malaysia see modernized networks as essential to deploying AI, IoT, and cloud solutions, with 91% increasing their network budgets.
As AI adoption intensifies, businesses face rising risks of outages driven by cyberattacks, congestion, and misconfigurations — prompting a major shift in infrastructure strategy. The report also found that 97% of Malaysian IT leaders expect cost savings from smarter, more secure, and adaptive networks, while 91% believe these investments will directly drive revenue.
With CEOs aligning behind CIOs and CTOs to lead this transformation, Cisco says the time is now for companies to future-proof their networks or risk falling behind in the AI-powered economy.
