KUALA LUMPUR, July 14 — The 8th Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) has unveiled its full screening schedule, featuring 65 films from 48 countries at GSC MyTOWN KL and GSC Lalaport BBCC.
From open-air cinema to compelling masterclasses, the festival brings together global filmmakers and cinephiles for a week-long celebration of storytelling across cultures and genres. Festival highlights include masterclasses by award-winning filmmakers Asif Kapadia and Pia Marais.
A special tribute to screen legend Ti Lung, and a cross-cultural forum with Reza Rahadian, Jennifer Yu, and Rima Das. The festival culminates in the Malaysia Golden Global Awards on July 26 at Zepp KL, with stars from across Asia presenting awards in a ceremony streamed live to global audiences.
