PETALING JAYA, July 16 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is set to finalise appointments to key vacancies in Malaysia’s judiciary, including the Chief Justice post, pending consent from the Conference of Rulers, Transport Minister Anthony Loke confirmed today.

Loke said Anwar assured government backbenchers during a closed-door briefing yesterday that the decision will be presented at the Rulers’ meeting today, marking a significant step toward addressing leadership gaps at the top tier of the judicial system.
