NEW YORK, July 19 — Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold7, its thinnest and most powerful foldable yet, at Galaxy Unpacked 2025. The device is now just 8.9mm thick when folded — a dramatic 48% reduction from the original Galaxy Fold’s 17.1mm in 2019.

This leap is made possible by the new Armor FlexHinge, continuing Samsung’s relentless innovation in hinge technology and foldable design. The Z Fold7 also features the largest screen ever in the series, with an 8.0-inch unfolded main display and a 6.5-inch cover screen for enhanced usability.

With pre-orders now open until 31 July from RM3,999, customers can enjoy limited-time rewards including discounts, storage upgrades, and exclusive rebates. The launch also introduces the Galaxy Z Flip7 and the Galaxy Watch8 series — part of Samsung’s push to expand its Galaxy ecosystem.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 comes in four striking colours: Silver Shadow, Blue Shadow, Jetblack, and Mint (online exclusive), with configurations up to 1TB storage and 16GB RAM.
