KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 — Selangor Dredging Berhad (SDB)’s CSR initiative, One-Two-Boost (OTB), has launched its first physical retail store at Mid Valley Megamall, aiming to empower individuals with special needs through meaningful employment and public engagement.
Officiated by Pathmanathan Nalasamy, Director of the Department for the Development of Persons with Disabilities, the launch marks a significant step toward inclusivity, with OTB offering over 50 herbal-based wellness products crafted in collaboration with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioners.
Conceived by SDB Managing Director Teh Lip Kim, OTB was inspired by a personal mission to uplift the special needs community. “This store is more than just retail — it’s a bridge of understanding and inclusion,” said Teh.
As a platform for awareness and empowerment, the store enables team members to build confidence and interpersonal skills while inviting the public to engage with their stories and courage.
