TANJONG MALIM, July 26 – Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) has reaffirmed its commitment to cultivating character and excellence by emphasising the BAIKK culture — Bangga UPSI, Adab, Ilmu, Keluarga, and Kreativiti — among 624 new Diploma students for the July 2025/2026 intake.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Datuk Dr. Md Amin Md Taff said the values serve as the foundation for shaping future educators who are ethical, knowledgeable, and innovative.

Speaking at the Pledge Ceremony held at Panggung Percubaan, Sultan Azlan Shah Campus, the Vice-Chancellor reminded students that pride in UPSI’s legacy, respectful behaviour, lifelong learning, a strong sense of community, and creative thinking are key traits to uphold throughout their academic journey.

He urged students to not only pursue academic excellence but to embrace UPSI’s mission of producing holistic individuals who can positively impact society.
