GEORGE TOWN, July 30 — After more than two decades away from the easel, Penang-born artist Joshua Foo makes a poignant return to painting with his solo exhibition “Time．Places．People”, running from July 23 to August 10 at Book Island, COEX.
The exhibition showcases watercolours, portraits, and reflections that span over 30 years, offering a deeply personal journey of memory, identity, and quiet rediscovery. Marking his first show in decades, Foo’s return is not just artistic—it is emotional and introspective, inviting viewers to reflect on their own sense of place and time.
Admission is free, and visitors can experience this tender homecoming daily from 11am to 6pm as part of the George Town Festival.
