PUTRAJAYA, August 1 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today emphasized the critical role of MyDigital ID in streamlining access to online public services, positioning it as a secure and reliable digital identity system under the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13).

Integrated with 45 platforms from both government and private sectors, MyDigital ID aims to enhance service delivery while prioritizing user data protection, including real-time identity verification without storing biometric data.

MyDigital ID CEO, Nik Hisham Nik Ibrahim, noted that the platform’s ultimate goal is to become a trusted digital infrastructure that supports national digital sovereignty. As adoption expands, MyDigital ID is expected to not only improve efficiency across services but also strengthen Malaysia’s position in the global digital landscape.
