KUALA LUMPUR, August 8 — FWD Insurance Berhad has launched a RM400,000 digital smartboard initiative, delivering 40 smartboards to 35 schools under Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Keramat, aimed at transforming financial literacy among young Malaysians.

The initiative, officiated by FWD CEO Mak See Sen and education officials, supports the Ministry of Education’s Digital Education Policy and PPD Keramat’s BYOD programme by enhancing digital learning tools in classrooms.

Installed across all participating schools, the smartboards are already being used to integrate digital and AI-driven learning, including essential financial education.

This move underscores FWD Insurance’s broader ESG commitment to building a financially literate and resilient generation, reinforcing its efforts alongside other recent programmes like “Know Your Money” with BSN and “Fun(d) for Uni Life” with Arus Academy.
