KUCHING, August 11 – Kuching City FC began their 2025/2026 Liga Super campaign in emphatic fashion, dismantling Kelantan The Real Warriors (TRW) 4-0 at Stadium Negeri, Petra Jaya.

New signing Wanja Ronald Ngah opened the scoring with a 6th-minute header from Jimmy Raymond’s cross before Joao Pedro Da Silva capitalised on a goalkeeping error to double the lead in the 16th minute.

Despite Kelantan’s attempts to recover, the home side’s solid defence kept them at bay until halftime. The second half saw KCFC maintain control, with Wanja striking again in the 70th minute before Muhammad Ramadan Saifullah sealed the rout deep into stoppage time.

Assistant coach Zulkarnien Mohamad Poasa hailed the win as a positive start but urged his players to stay focused, with preparations now turning to the FA Cup clash against Brunei DPMM on August 16, followed by a meeting with 11-time Liga Super champions JDT on August 24.
