SELAYANG, August 11 – PDRM FC showcased remarkable resilience to claw back from a two-goal deficit and hold Brunei DPMM FC to a 2-2 draw in their opening Liga Super 2025 clash at Stadium Majlis Perbandaran Selayang.

The visitors started with a bang, with Indonesian striker Ramadhan Sananta striking in the 2nd minute before Miguel Oliveira doubled the lead just two minutes later. PDRM had a chance to reduce the deficit in the first half, but Ahmed Israiwah’s penalty was denied by goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski.

The Cops refused to surrender, with South Korean defender Park Tae-su turning hero in the second half, netting twice in the 68th and 72nd minutes to salvage a point for the home side. The result leaves both teams sharing the spoils in their first outing of the season.

DPMM FC will next face Selangor FC on Tuesday at Stadium MB Petaling Jaya, while PDRM FC host Terengganu FC on August 13.
