KUALA LUMPUR, August 19 — The Ministry of Communications has launched a nationwide anti-bullying campaign across schools and media platforms, following a decree by His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia.
Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said the campaign will be implemented through television, radio, social media, and digital channels, while also coordinating with other ministries to reach students, parents, and communities with a unified message.
Fahmi emphasised that the initiative embeds values of respect, discipline, and compassion into national communication strategies and aligns with the Madani Government’s agenda, strengthened by recent amendments to the Penal Code and Criminal Procedure Code.
He urged parents, schools, communities, and the media to work together to eradicate bullying, stressing that only collective effort can nurture a generation of disciplined and compassionate Malaysians.
